The HPPCA group was created by researchers working in the high performance and parallel computer architecture area. Its main goals are the study, design and evaluation of architectures able to explore fine and coarse grain parallelism. Therefore, the HPPCA group has interests on superscalar, multithreading and dataflow approaches, including interconnection networks for parallel architectures. The philosophy of the group is to sustain high quality scientific production in the HPPCA area and to participate in national and international cooperative projects with other universities and research centers.
